Frequently Asked Questions about Video Walls

Which should I choose, a NEC seamless video wall or an led tile video wall?
It really depends on the size of the wall wanting to implement and where. -The larger the video wall size, the more likely that LED tiles would be the recommended choice. The smaller the wall, you would need to be careful choosing LED tiles, as the smaller you go, the less pixels will be displayed on the video wall. The less pixels equals less clarity. -Also something to note, that if you have a lot of text on a smaller LED tile wall, the worse it will look. We would recommend considering an LED Tile wall for anything over 5’ high x 5’ wide, otherwise the NEC Seamless wall is hands down the recommended choice. -Doing an event outdoors, use an LED tile wall, as it will have a much higher contrast ratio. LED tiles are the same products that are implemented in outdoor stadiums around the world.

Will and LED video wall show high def?
Yes you can play a high def video on an LED wall, but remember, the number of pixels being utilized depends on how big your video wall actually is.

Let’s say I was a camera company, and I only had space for a 10’ wide video wall, which video wall product should I chose?
Since you are a camera company and I am sure that you are showing 4k imagery, that you need to highlight the crispness in your shots taken from your camera. In this case, GSE AV would recommend using a NEC seamless video wall so you can display your full 4k pixels to impress your audience.

Which LED wall should I choose, the 3.9mm led wall, or the 2.8mm led wall
That really depends on your budget. The 2.8mm video wall will show your video clearer than the 3.9mm, due to the fact that there are more pixels on each tile. That being said, the 2.8mm led tile costs marginally more than the 3.9mm wall
